Ruger Single Nine Revolver in .22 WMR

Ruger’s nine-shot Single-Nine revolver is now available chambered in .22 WMR. Constructed from durable satin-finished stainless steel with a 6.5-inch barrel, smooth, hardwood, “Gunfighter” grips, Williams fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights.

    I was waiting for this to happen, but would have liked for it to be like all the other Ruger 22's, ie, a single revolver with two cylinders, 22LR & 22WMR, instead of having to buy two differant guns

      Two different guns for two different barrel diameters. The .22 WMR bullet has a larger diameter than the .22 LR, thus resulting in decreased accuracy with .22 LR rounds in a .22 WMR barrel. I LOVE the idea of dedicated .22 LR barrel in a Single "Six" format.

      But, the internal land diameter is different between a Single Ten and a Single Nine. Thats what makes them better than a Single Six Convertible.
