SPRINGFIELD XDS 3.3-INCH SUBCOMPACT

Springfield’s newest polymer XDS is a polymer frame, striker fired, single stack .45 pistol with a five-round magazine, 3.3-inch barrel, an overall length of 6.3 inches, is only 1 inch thick and weighs 21 ounces (unloaded).

    only 5 rounds ? thats abit sad to hear since the subcompact 9mm has 16 round clips and 10 round we want more rounds !

      One round should be enough if you can shoot, keep practeing.one to the chest will stop any one.

      If you hit what you are aiming at it is perfect!! A fantastic home security weapon! Nothing beats a shotgun for that, but this 45 is a close second! Also, your spouse can handle it as easy as a .380 if need be, with relative ease and still have the knock down power of the .45!

      Learn to shoot! How many do you need for self defense? You need 10 or 15 9mm to equal the ballistic efficiency of 6 45s

    The way springfield-armory is jacking everyone around no one will want the gun.In Jan Springfield said that the gun would be out 1st week of Feb,but because of trouble they will not be out until March 15 or so.The last week of March they still were not shipped to anyone.Then springfield stated because of production troubles that the guns would not be shipped until April 9 or 10 Then they were to be shipped out May 15 NOW THEY WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE .i HAVE TALKED TO THE SAME PERSON EVERY TIME dawn@springfield-armory.com AND STILL NO GUNS SHIPPED Think I'll BUY A Different Gun

      I just got my XDS a week ago. Believe me it was worth the wait! Felt recoil is light enough my 105 lb daughter can shoot it and loves it. Springfield engineers did their homework!

      Never mind, just found them on S.A. website (7-round) for $39.95.

    I'll stick with my Glock 27 and 11 rounds. Near as nasty as the .45 with only a litte less ke.
