JUST BOUGHT THIS MAG THINKING FACTORY PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST. I PUT THIS MAG IN A BRAND NEW RUGER 10/22 AND FOUND THAT IT HAS ALOT OF PLAY FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. DOES NOT FIT TIGHT. I THEN USED A RAM LINE MAG AND IT FIT SNUG AS A BUG IN A RUG.NO ISSUES. THIS NEW RUGER MAG IS JUNK.

    Brent,

I would try shooting with the two mags. I think you will see a difference in favor of the Ruger mag.

We have a couple of these mags and have run a couple thousand round threw them and have not had any problems. Appears to be the same quality as all 3 of our 10/22's. A couple more will defiantly will be in my sons stocking this year.

Brent, the description of the product says the mag works in "all vintages of Ruger 10/22" There are differences in magwell width of some older Ruger 10/22s. Some new mags will not fit older 10/22s. This new Ruger product addresses that by fitting both new and old 10/22s.

I bought two of these mags. I did a torture test on the first one by running 525 rounds though it as fast as I could, without cleaning. Flawlesss. My 10-22 is 30 years old. Not so much as a hiccup.
